Immunoendocrinology

Immunoendocrinology is an open access, peer-reviewed, online journal that seeks to understand the intricate cellular and molecular interactions between the neural, endocrine, and immune systems not only in type 1 diabetes but in a range of other autoimmune and endocrine disorders. 

Topics of interest include but are not limited to the following areas: 

  • Hormones and immune system
  • The immunological role of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis
  • Immune self-tolerance and autoimmunity toward the neuroendocrine system
  • Lymphocyte biology and sex hormones
  • Mast and dendritic cells and the nervous system
  • Antigen-specific immunotherapy
