Telomere and Telomerase

Telomere and Telomerase is a peer-reviewed, open access journal dedicated to the publication of papers covering telomere and telomerase biology in normal development and in pathology. Telomere and telomerase biology have recently been implicated in the research of a variety of human health topics, including aging, cancer, stem cell, and pathogenesis of a variety of diseases. The goal of this journal is to advance our understanding of the role of telomere and telomerase in health and diseases.

Topics of interest include but are not limited to the following areas:

  • Telomeres and telomerase complex
  • Molecular genetics of telomeres and telomerase
  • Telomerase structure and function
  • Novel therapeutics targeting telomerase and telomeres
  • Mechanism of telomerase regulation
  • Telomere and telomerase in oncology
  • Telomeres and Telomerase in Aging

  • Rajiv Kumar, Division of Molecular Genetic Epidemiology, German Cancer Research Center, Heidelberg, Germany
  • Karim Mekhail, Laboratory Medicine and Pathobiology, Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto, Toronto, Ontario, Canada
