Article types

This journal only accepts original research article, review (includig minireview), and case report.

Preparing manuscript

Please submit your manuscript as a WORD file that is in a single column format.

Manuscripts for research article submitted to this journal should be divided into the following sections (in this order):

  • Title page
  • Abstract
  • Keywords
  • Introduction
  • Materials (or patients) and methods
  • Results
  • Discussion
  • Ethics Approval
  • Patient Consent for Publication
  • Acknowledgements
  • Conflicting Interest
  • References

Title page

  • Provide the title of the article.
  • List the full names, institutional addresses and email addresses for all authors.
  • Indicate the corresponding author.
  • List of abbreviations used if any.
  • List trial registry if any, along with the unique identifying number (e.g. Trial registration: Current Controlled Trials ISRCTN73824458).

Abstract

The abstract should be a single paragraph and should not exceed 350 words. Please have paper published by us as a template.

Keywords

Three to ten keywords representing the main content of the article.

Introduction

Background of the related research should be briefly discribed, and a short summary of  the findings should be given in this section.

Materials (or Patients) and Methods

The materials and methods section should discribe the materials involved in the experiment such as antibody's name, brand, and batch number. Procedure of experiment should be explained in enough detail to allow another researcher to repeat the experiment.

Results

The results of the experiment must be reported truthfully, including negative results. Figures and legends, tables and captions should be embedded in the corresponding parts of results. Every table and figure must include a caption. Overall, the content of a caption should make it possible for your reader to interpret and understand the significance of a figure without reading the main text. The structure of a legend may include a title and short descriptions of both the methods and the results. In addition, include an explanation of all symbols, patterns, lines, colors, non-standard abbreviations, scale bars, and error bars (standard deviation or standard error). Figures should be provided as JPG, TIF, or high resolution PDF files. Please note that it is the responsibility of the author(s) to obtain permission from the copyright holder to reproduce figures (or tables) that have previously been published elsewhere.  The figure legend should conclude with "Reprinted with permission".

Figure Legend Example:

Figure 3. NR administration to human monocytes suppresses LPS-mediated type 1 IFN signaling. (A) IFNB mRNA level in monocytes was measured by RT-PCR at 30, 60, and 90 minutes after LPS stimulation (n = 2–4 replicates). (B) TNF-α production measured by ELISA from human monocytes incubated with vehicle or NR for 16 hours (n = 5 replicates/treatment). Data represented as mean ± SEM. *P < 0.05, **P < 0.01 (one-way analysis of variance followed by Tukey’s post hoc test). 7-NI: 7-Nitroindazole; DMSO: dimethyl sulfoxide; NAC: acetylcysteine.

Discussion

The author should conduct a detailed discussion based on the experimental results and findings, combined with the current research background, and propose the experimental flaws as much as possible.

Ethics Approval

Ethical approval from institution should be disclosed in this section.

Patient Consent for Publication

Informed consent from patients should be disclosed in this section.

Conflicting Interests

Any actual or potential conflicts of interest must be disclosed (e.g. The author(s) declare that they have no conflicting interests.).
